I warn you I use Google translation,My englih is very bad sorry !


I am creating my own CT but I do not know how to create a sloping hill with boost! I watch a little tutorial with gradients but I can not do so is there another method (using Google SketchUp may be) that would allow me to do that?

GSU is the best methode for making CT models. The model in GSU need to be really really big.
install an obj exporter plugin if you have the free version .(http://sketchuptips.blogspot.com/2007/01/wavefront-obj-exporter.html)
export the model as separete polygons (select it) as .obj with the settings:
export front faces
export back faces
use UV helper
export selected only

Open the .obj and .mtl files in notebook, change all .'s to ,'s exept *.mtl that refers to the mtl file.

Than you can import the polygons in the szs modifier(do it one by one).

For paint, the only option is gradients to make slopes.

I try with skethcup got the error "invalid file" so I think the track is too small. How do I enlarge it because I can not with the tool "Scale"?

Have you selected all (Edit > Select All) and press the scale too?

I don't thing the problem is the size. Its the .obj. I have this method: I delete the .mtl file and then i open the .obj file in notepad and delete the xxxx.mtl file path. Then i save and it works.

Yes I did what you told me and it worked but the problem is that I do not see my tour szs after import, even with the zoom!

Select the polygon with the model and retexture it. Then you see what texture what it is and you can change it in the textures folder.

I try but when I put 100 of scale and xy position, I get an error: "polygon99 Requires 548 less point to retexture"

Hmm. I don't know what this error means but I got it on some of my CT's too. I ignored it. Ignore it too and then save and open course_model again.

oh. hmm, ok try re-texturing with 50 or so. If thid also wont work try to import in a other polygon.

I think it's a file size problem. if the original polygon had 4 points to put the texture on and your polygon 10 I'll cost more bytes to save it and the szs modifier is unable to expand files. So I hope this will be solved in the brres tool too.

What I do is import in an other polygon as 4TLPati said, and it works. And else (if you don't have another polygon), take a one color texture and it will be that color without re-texturing.
