nice. But if you want, take more time for the design. It looks like you made something quickly in sketchup to work with the kmp as fast as possible.

I don't say you did, I said it looks like. And you need to think about how it looks.
But textures can change many things in that point. Try taking darker textures for the wall in the canyon (normally there isn't much light in a canyon) , maybe a retexture xz y would work.
Same thing for the forest. It's too light, darker textures make it look much more forestlike.

I can't change the texture of the canyon walls. It's not my fault. SZS Modifier gives me an error when retexturing. You can check out by yourself.
Oh and there's no need to actually import darker textures - when someone makes a custom track, normally they replace the lightning texture image with a white one. But I'll replace it with a grayish one, to make it darker.

I hate those errors. You can try to map them in GSU, but it requires much time.

(maybe you just gave me the cause that the poly's in Delfino Island are too dark)

I tried to import the texture mapped model from Sketchup (like I always do with every model) but the textures were still crazy like that. I also didn't find the texture for that polygon (it seems to be plain dark yellow), in fact, SZS Modifier will display that polygon as if it was pure white. I didn't import to other polygon because that was the only one that fits.

Moo Moo Forest was renamed to Goldwood Forest, it won't have any behind-the-scene changes except for a minor change in the CPU routes to make then smarter, all changes are cosmetical, the track now takes place on sunset. And this RC2 will likely come today along with Beach Gardens. If it's not today, it's tomorrow.

Nope. I can move/shrink the map, but the character positions would be messed up since they'd be the same as before.

LOL, the master of kmp can´t fix maps. ROFL.

Open the map_model, go to Tools, Minimap control.
Make the numbers bigger (negative numbers more negative). to make the map smaller.
Make the numbers smaller to make the map larger.

(you need the first option).

Trial and error to get the right map.
